The heartbeat of Powered by Christ Ministries is obedience to the Great Commission. We are committed to taking the Gospel into communities, discipling new believers, and strengthening the local body of Christ. Our Church Planting pillar reflects this calling.

Whenever the Lord sends us into a new region, our first step is to seek relationship with existing Bible-believing, Bible-teaching fellowships. We honor and support the presence of local churches where they exist. When we find a faithful fellowship, we come alongside them by helping establish discipleship programs, mentorship ministries, and leadership training where it is needed. As we evangelize, we direct new believers to these trusted churches so they can be shepherded well, discipled faithfully, and grounded in the Word of God.

Only when there is no sound, Christ-honoring church in a region do we plant a new one.
In such places, we establish a fellowship built upon Scripture, prayer, discipleship, and community transformation—raising up local leaders who can shepherd the flock and continue the ministry long after the initial planting.

Our Work in Kenya

By God’s grace, we have already witnessed the impact of this model in several communities throughout Kenya.

Two churches in the Kisii region have been planted and entrusted to local leadership, now functioning as active centers of worship, teaching, and discipleship.
A new church in Lolgorien is growing steadily with a strong team of local believers trained in mentorship, Bible teaching, and shepherding.

Each church becomes a lighthouse in its community—strengthening families, nurturing spiritual growth, and extending Christ’s love through outreach and discipleship.

Our Vision

Our desire is to see Christ-exalting churches established in communities where the Gospel is needed and biblical teaching is scarce. As the Lord opens doors, we aim to:

Build relationships with existing churches and support their discipleship efforts
Train pastors, leaders, and ministry workers
Establish Christ-centered churches where none exist
Strengthen new believers through mentorship
Integrate outreach, teaching, and community care into every fellowship
Empower local believers to reach others with the Gospel
